# Rate Limiting

A Cloudflare security rule blocks any IP address making more than **5 API requests per 10 seconds**. If this limit is exceeded, subsequent requests from that IP are temporarily blocked.

When integrating, make sure your client paces its requests — for example, add a short delay between paginated calls — to stay within this threshold.

To help us identify and support your integration, send a descriptive `User-Agent` header with your requests — for example, `my-project sync (github.com/user/repo)` or one that includes a contact address. If your traffic ever trips the limit or shows up in our server logs, this lets us recognize it and reach out rather than block it.
